During our DC trip we headed to Georgetown to experience GLOW. This is just one of the really fun interactive glowing exhibits that the kids had a blast with.

🌟Tip: there is a lovely bakery there called Levain, where you can grab hot chocolate, coffee, and lots of freshly baked goods. It was the perfect way to warm up on a cold night!

I think my favorite thing about homeschooling is learning through experience. You are so much more likely to retain knowledge when you learn the information in a meaningful and memorable way. Today we had the privilege of visiting the Martin Luther King, Jr. memorial on MLK Day. It was a powerful and beautiful experience and so special to do it on such an important day.
